Where will the 2026 Annual Meeting take place?
The Annual Meeting will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. Details are available on the Housing and Travel page.
When is the deadline for reserving a room at the Gaylord?
The group rate for the Gaylord Opryland Resort will be available through January 19, 2026.
What is the attire for the meeting?
Business attire is appropriate.
What is the weather like in Nashville in mid-February?
The weather in Nashville, TN, can vary greatly in mid-February, but the average temperature is between 34°F and 59°F.
Will there be a mobile app?
Yes. All registrants will receive a link to the mobile app before the event.
What are the Exhibit Hall hours?

Where do I submit my Poster abstract for consideration for display at the annual meeting?
You can find the poster submission page by navigating to the Academy's home page and clicking "2026 Submission Portal" button under the Education & Events tab and follow the provided instructions to log in. If you have additional questions or trouble submitting, please contact Education Director Jacquie Tremblay at jtremblay@oandp.org.
Will my family be able to attend the meeting with me?
Yes, spouses and children may attend, but they must complete a registration form to attend sessions or visit the Exhibit Hall. Registered individuals may purchase tickets for guests, spouses, or family members. Children ages 10 and under are free, and children ages 11-18 pay $155. Those over the age of 18 must pay the full applicable registration fee. Everyone attending the Welcome Reception must be registered or purchase a reception ticket.

Are all sessions included in the registration fee?
All sessions are included in the registration fee, with the exception of the Hands-On sessions and the Exam Preparation Seminars, both of which are offered on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, and require an additional fee.
How do I get a visa letter if I am attending from abroad?
Please email our Operations Manager, Nadine Lemons, at nlemons@oandp.org for assistance obtaining your invitation letter to attend the Annual Meeting.
When will the Manufacturer-led sessions take place?
Will there be exam preparation seminars during the Annual Meeting?
Yes, the Academy will offer one orthotic and one prosthetic exam prep seminars during the Annual Meeting. Space is limited, and board-eligible clinicians and residents will be prioritized. This seminar will be available for $95 for Members and $145 for non-members who register by Sunday, November 30, 2025.
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellations made before November 30, 2025, are subject to a $100 administrative processing fee. After November 30, 2025, cancellation requests will be forwarded to the conference committee to determine if any refund will be granted. A minimum $100 administrative fee will be charged if a refund is approved. Registration fees for optional functions are nonrefundable.

How many CEUs are available at the Annual Meeting?

Will there be any virtual options this year?
There will be no virtual component this year. However, those who purchase a full-conference registration will receive complimentary access to all AAOP2026 recorded sessions through May 31, 2026 and can earn additional CEUs.
When will my CEUs appear on my transcripts?
CEUs are sent to credentialing bodies at the end of the month following the Annual Meeting. Please allow courses to appear on your transcript up to a month after that. If you reside in Canada, please get in touch with Education Specialist Emma Laws (elaws@oandp.org) to obtain a copy of your completed courses so you can submit them to the relevant credentialing body.

Yes. The location will be posted in the mobile app.
