HANDS-ON SESSIONS

Registration is limited to 40 attendees per session.

The Academy will offer two Hands-On Sessions in conjunction with the 2025 Academy Annual Meeting. These seminars are designed to deliver curated and clinically oriented content from subject matter experts and provide interactive group discussions for participants.

EXAM PREPARATION SEMINARS

The Academy will offer one orthotic and one prosthetic Exam Preparation Seminar in conjunction with the 2025 Academy Annual Meeting. These seminars are designed to help board-eligible clinicians and residents successfully pass their exams. Space is limited, and registration will be prioritized for board-eligible clinicians and residents who are within six months of taking their exams.

Special Credit-Earning Rate for Certified O&P Professionals in Full-Time PhD Programs

The Academy is committed to supporting certified orthotists and prosthetists in advancing their education. If you're a certified O&P professional currently enrolled in a full-time PhD program, you can now register for the Academy Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium at the subsidized student rate. This special offer allows you to earn continuing education credits while maintaining your certification. For more details or to take advantage of this opportunity, contact nlemons@oandp.org.

Spouses and Children

Spouses and children must complete a registration form to attend sessions or visit the Exhibit Hall. Registered individuals may purchase tickets for guests, spouses, or family members. Children ages 10 and under are free, and children ages 11-18 pay $155. Those over the age of 18 must pay the full applicable registration fee. Everyone attending the Welcome Reception must be registered or purchase a reception ticket.

Children ages 10 and under are allowed in the Exhibit Hall but must have adult supervision. Certified clinicians who are eligible for Academy membership may not register under the spouse and/or children categories. Those attending the Academy Annual Meeting to earn continuing education credits for any professional organization may not register under the spouse and/or children categories.

Waiver of Liability

Each individual attending the Academy Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium assumes all risks and responsibilities associated with his or her attendance and participation in all on-site activities that occur during the Annual Meeting. By registering for this meeting, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Academy and its governing bodies, officers, and employees from all loss, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to your attendance and participation at the 51st Academy Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium.

Photograph/Video/Information Release

Photographs and videos taken at the 51st Academy Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium may be used in future marketing, publicity, promotions, advertising, and training activities. By registering for this meeting, you agree to allow the Academy to use the photographs and video—which may include you—in all media formats worldwide.

Confirmations

Online registrants receive an automatic confirmation. All registrants will receive a confirmation several weeks before the meeting. Confirmations will be sent via email to registrants who provide an email address.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellations made before December 16, 2024, are subject to a $100 administrative processing fee. After December 16, 2024, cancellation requests will be forwarded to the conference committee to determine if any refund will be granted. If a refund is approved, a minimum $100 administrative fee will be charged. Registration fees for optional functions are nonrefundable.
