The ultimate goal is to improve the Patient’s quality of life; comfort, wearability, function, and effectiveness. This presentation will provide specific examples of how evidence-based decision making can be applied to clinical practice and simultaneously enable the clinician to understand there is creative freedom in the clinical choices they provide their patients. There is no evidence based “gold standard” for socket interface design or technique. This presentation will emphasize the primary importance of clinical translation.
