Our study investigated the long term effects of positional plagiocephaly/brachycephaly in infancy. We surveyed children that are currently 4-10 years old, comparing children who received a helmet versus those who did not. We investigated social and developmental outcomes in their adolescence.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to define positional plagiocephaly/brachycephaly and identify different treatment options.
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe how positonal plagiocephaly/brachycephaly may affect patients in their adolescence.
Upon completion, participants will be able to help provide optimal guidance to families on making a decision on PPB treatment.
