Very few studies on long term effects of positional head shape pathologies have looked into psychosocial effects, dental and speech issues, and vision issues. Surveys including pedsql, and CBCL were sent to 2000 people whose child was seen at the Texas Children's Plagiocephaly Clinic between 2007 and 2018. Significant associations were found in the group comparison between control and CRO treatment.
