This presentation reports findings from a randomized controlled crossover trial investigating the clinical benefits of a vented liner and socket suspension system in transfemoral amputees. The study focuses on patient-reported outcomes related to residual limb skin health.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the difference between a vented liner-socket suspension system and a conventional non-vented liner-socket system.
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the user benefits of using a vented liner-socket suspension system.
Upon completion, participants will be able to define useful tools to evaluate patient-reported residual limb skin health.
