Understanding the psychological impact of falls on lower limb prosthesis users is limited by the availability, quality, and applicability of instruments for measuring fall-related health. The goal of this study was therefore to develop new population-specific instruments for measuring falls self-efficacy, avoidance behaviors, anxiety, and interference.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to visualize a model for studying fall-related health outcomes in LLP users.
Upon completion, participant will be able to describe the development and initial validation of the Prosthetic Limb Users Survey of Falls.
Upon completion, participant will be able to understand how to access PLUS-F instruments for use in clinical practice and research.
