While decision-making has been extensively studied across many health professions, research within the O&P field remains limited. This research describes CPOs’ perceptions of the decisions they make during a typical workday as well as factors used to inform these decisions.
Learning Objectives:
Describe the types of decisions made by CPOs during a typical work day.
Detail the information used to inform clinical decisions made by CPOs
Reflect upon P&O educational curriculum/standards and how they align with decisions that need to be made by practicing CPOs.
