Reduction in Falls, Risk of Falling and Improvement in Walking Speed in Spinal Cord Injury Patients in the C-Brace Registry

A sub-analysis of patients with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) enrolled in the C-Brace Registry showed that the C-Brace reduced falls and improved walking speed, functional mobility, balance confidence and Quality of Life after one year of use.

Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the importance of microprocessor-controlled stance and swing orthotic intervention for individuals with incomplete spinal cord stimulation (iSCI).
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the improvements in fastest-possible walking speed, balance confidence and functional mobility found in iSCI patients after 1 year of C-Brace use.
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the reductions in falling and fall-risk found in iSCI patients after 1 year of C-Brace use.
