When a socket needs replacing, multiple clinical visits are required. Eliminating one of these visits by remotely capturing residual limb shape could improve access to care. The purpose of this research is to determine if sockets, made in part with remote caregiver assistance, fit at least as well as sockets made entirely with in-person services.
