This case study examines a 53 year-old male with a history of CVA, right sided weakness, and knee instability following spinal and psoas tumor resections. He was fit with a dynamic swing-assist KAFO which proved to manage his biomechanical deficits and improve his confidence during gait. The device was effective in managing his fluctuating weakness caused by radiation treatments.
