Stephen Charry, MS, CPO, FAAOP, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Hartford, where he teaches in the Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics (MSPO) program. A certified prosthetist-orthotist, he also maintains an active clinical practice with Hanger Clinic, providing comprehensive prosthetic care to a diverse patient population. His clinical interests include lower-limb prosthetic rehabilitation, patient care pathway development, and interdisciplinary collaboration across the continuum of care. His research and teaching focus on digital workflow transformation, lower limb prosthetics, humanitarian efforts, and advancing social justice and health equity in rehabilitation education. Through both clinical and academic settings, he emphasizes experiential learning, patient-centered care, and the integration of technology, empathy, and evidence-based practice in the field of prosthetics and orthotics.
