Hiva holds a bachelor's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Iran University of Medical Sciences. She completed her master's degree in Biomechanics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Currently, she is a PhD student in Movement Science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her research focuses on enhancing walking ability and improving the quality of life for individuals with lower limb amputations.
