Kristin Perrin is a fifth-year PhD student in Movement Science at the University of Michigan and a Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO) with Hanger Clinic. Her research examines factors influencing the successful daily use of lower-limb prostheses, including the combined effects of neuromuscular factors—such as muscle size and contraction rate—and socket type on standing balance. She is also interested in developing and assessing measures for implementing novel prosthetic technologies in clinical practice.
