Dr. Sheila Clemens is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Kentucky. She is a clinician-scientist whose teaching and research focuses on recovery after lower limb amputation. Dr. Clemens primary research interests are to investigate socioenvironmental factors contributing to poor outcomes, and the examination of pelvic floor disorders in people with amputations. She has presented her work at state, national, and international conferences to both rehabilitation and prosthetic professionals.
