Cassandra Delgado is a board-certified prosthetist-orthotist and the Clinical Director at Coyote Prosthetics. After graduating from Alabama State University with her Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics, Cassandra completed her residency at the University of Michigan. With a strong background in patient care, research, and education, she is dedicated to advancing prosthetic and orthotic technology while mentoring the next generation of clinicians.
Her expertise includes clinical practice, residency mentorship, and beta testing innovative prosthetic solutions. She has held leadership roles in the field, contributing to both patient care and clinical education. Passionate about accessibility and inclusivity in healthcare, Cassandra is committed to serving the Spanish-speaking population, ensuring that language is never a barrier to quality care. Cassandra sits on the Scope of Practice Board for the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Pedorthics.
An accomplished researcher and educator, she has presented her research at national and international symposiums and serves as a guest lecturer for several O&P, PT, and OT programs. Recognized for her contributions to the profession, she remains focused on improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge technology, education, and advocacy. In her spare time, Cassandra enjoys volunteering as a Special Olympics coach.
