Michael Günther, Orthopedic Engineer, is Founder and Managing Director of Guenther Bionics GmbH. He began his career with formal training as an orthopedic technician and gained valuable international experience working in Australia and the United States. Michael later completed his engineering degree in Giessen, Germany, further strengthening his technical and clinical expertise.

After working at Streifeneder, he founded Guenther Bionics GmbH in 2010. Since then, he has focused on service fabrication as well as research and development in the field of orthopedic technology. His work includes the development of highly specialized prosthetic solutions and the integration of innovative manufacturing techniques.

Michael is the holder of a patented MWK socket system and specializes in the production of high-performance transfemoral sockets made from prepreg materials and silicone, manufactured according to German quality standards.
