Aparna Srinidhi Jagannathan is a third-year Biomedical Engineering student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Aparna is a student researcher in the EPIC (Exoskeleton Prosthetic and Intelligent Controls) Laboratory under the Petit Fellowship, where she is designing, building, and testing a novel wearable biofeedback system under the guidance of Professor Herrin and Professor Young. Additionally, Aparna is a researcher in the BME instructional laboratories under Dr. Balakrishna Pai and Ketki Patil, where she is researching the effects of the compounds 5-FU and polyphyllin II on DLD-1 cancer cells and the associated cellular signaling pathways.
