Ms. Young is a graduate of the Northeastern University School of Physical Therapy and holds a Certification in Prosthetics from Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Patty joined the Amputation System of Care family in 2010 as the Amputation Rehabilitation Coordinator (ARC) in Richmond VAMC after working predominantly in the acute rehabilitation settings in Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
She started the Inpatient Rehabilitation Intensive Prosthetic Training Program (“Prosthetic Bootcamp”) in the VA system.
She stepped into the Amputation System of Care National Program Manager position in 2019 where she proudly advocates for the ASoC and the ARCs.
Patty enjoys being both a soccer mom and a swim mom and watching her twins, Maggie and Teddy grow and spending time with her husband, Tim and puppy Mabel.
