For over 40 years, the Board of Certification/Accreditation has delivered trusted credentials in orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) and durable medical equipment (DME). BOC accredits O&P practices, DME suppliers, and pharmacies, and certifies orthotic fitters, mastectomy fitters, and DME specialists. BOC-certified practitioners and accredited suppliers are recognized as qualified providers and suppliers under the Social Security Act, as amended by the Benefits Improvement and Protection Act (BIPA).
BOC is recognized for award-winning customer service, innovation, and thought leadership, earning 12 Stevie Awards. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Department of Veterans Affairs accept BOC credentials.
