The Method TA™ Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) by Becker Orthopedic provides a versatile approach to managing gait impairments caused by neurological conditions. Available in both prefabricated (custom fit) and now custom configurations, the Method TA offers clinicians flexibility in selecting the appropriate level of personalization based on patient presentation. Its modular, adjustable design supports evolving patient needs and allows targeted tuning of gait mechanics. This course will examine the clinical indications for each version of the Method TA, provide guidance on device adjustments and highlight decision-making considerations when choosing between the Method TA and alternative custom orthotic designs.
