Results from a prospective, randomized, repeated measures study comparing socket size adjustments using an auto-adjusted and user-adjusted (using a phone app) socket will be presented. The results highlight differences between auto- and user-adjusted sockets that may facilitate clinical implementation of adjustable socket technology.
Learning Objectives:
Describe socket size adjustment differences between an auto-adjusted and user-adjusted socket tested in a high-activity protocol
Explain why the differences may be relevant to socket fit and participant performance
Understand how study results may be relevant to adjustable socket technology in general
