Our research investigates the properties of a novel laminate composite we named PolyCo, which is made from homopolymer polypropylene and copolymer polypropylene, to determine if it is a viable competitor to standard polypropylene. Preliminary results show that Polyco is a viable alternative to single-layer Polypropylene for orthotic fabrication when greater impact strength and tensile elongation are indicated for the patient.
