This poster presents evaluation of which recorded admissions factors best predict academic performance within an orthotics and prosthetics graduate program. Using a retrospective dataset of 51 de-identified student records, we analyzed cognitive application variables (undergraduate GPA, prerequisite GPA, undergraduate major, and observation hours) and their relationship to program GPA. Findings indicate commonly weighted metrics show limited predictive value. By clarifying the admissions factors associated with student success, this work provides evidence-based guidance for MSPO programs seeking to optimize selection processes and support long-term professional competency in prosthetics and orthotics.
