Understanding Physical Therapy Engagement Through the Voice of Lower Limb Amputees

This poster explores how individuals with lower limb amputation perceive their engagement in physical therapy. Through semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis, the study identifies key factors that influence continued participation, including emotional readiness, therapist knowledge, role clarity, access to care, and social support. Findings highlight the importance of patient-centered communication and interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
