This poster presents a retrospective matched cohort analysis comparing cranial symmetry outcomes in infants treated with 3D printed compared to thermoformed cranial remolding orthoses (CROs). Using clinical data from 1,140 infants, the study found that patients who were provided 3D printed CROs achieved greater improvement in Cranial Vault Asymmetry Index (CVAI) than those with traditional thermoformed devices. The poster highlights how additive manufacturing may enhance device precision, comfort, and treatment outcomes for appropriately selected pediatric patients.
